Bidding Process

Subcontractors must complete all requirements as outlined in the “Become a Contractor” tab of the Batis Development website. After proper submittal of all documents, contractors will be issued a user name and password to grant them access to the individual job information portals on the website located in the “Upcoming Projects” tab of the website. Here you will find the job plans, scopes of work, municipality and/or code requirement information, along with job specific bid deadlines and projected start dates. After thorough review of the plans, scopes, and local code requirements of the presiding municipality, the contractor will submit a bid proposal to This email address is being protected from spambots. If necessary, contractor may be contacted via email or telephone by Batis Development staff for clarification or questioning of bid proposal – the subcontractor will submit any questions or clarification to the bid email address. It is the responsibility of the contractor to fully understand the job tasks that the contractor is bidding – no change orders will be allowed for omissions of the contractor in preparing a bid proposal. The scopes of work provided by Batis Development are by no means all-inclusive and Batis does not represent them as such. The scopes are to be used as a general guideline of the jobsite requirements. The subcontractor is accepting all responsibility for the full completion of whatever aspect of the construction job that the contractor bids. Subcontractors that are accepted for work on a project will be contacted by Batis Development to execute a valid contract for the specific job bid. Batis attempts to contact all subcontractors that submit bids to notify them that the bid that was submitted was not accepted, but due to workflow variances, this is sometimes not accomplished.
